We've lined up some gemutlichkeit (friendly) contests for those who want to have the full Oktoberfest experience!
Note that there is a capacity for each contest, so early sign-ups are encouraged. Pre-event registration closes Thursday, September 25 at 5:00 PM. There will also be day-of sign ups at the event in front of the Garden Stage and Pier Plaza Stage, but no promises that they won't get filled.
NOTE: Participants for the contests at the Garden Stage must purchase an Entrance Wristband ($10) and be 21 years and over.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 27
COSTUME CONTEST
What: Show off your best dirndl or lederhosen. Don't forget the loferls, charivari, aprons, and hair braids! Mens, womens, children & dogs divisons.
When: Saturday, September 27 @ 12:30 PM
Where: Pier Plaza Stage (across from Hennessey's)
Eligibility Requirements: Children (ages 12 & younger), adults (all ages not in child category), and dogs
STEIN CHUGGING (presented by Patrick Malloy's)
What: Chug, chug, chug! Each participant races to drink 22 oz. stein of non-alcoholic beer. Mens and womens divsions

Eligibility Requirements: Purchase Entrance Ticket into the Garden ($10), Adults (ages 21 and older)
PRETZEL EATING
What: How fast can you eat a large soft pretzel? Join us for the contest to find out!
When: Saturday, September 27 @ 3:00 PM
Where: Pier Plaza Stage (across from Hennesseys)
Eligibility Requirements: Adults (ages 18 and older)
STEIN HOISTING (presented by Hermosa Brewing Co)
What: A traditional Bavarian strength contest to see who can hold up a filled 1-liter stein for the longest amount of time. Mens and womens divisions.

YODELING CONTEST
What: Yodel-lay-hee-who! Show off your yodeling skills for all to hear. Adults and childrens division.
